As an original member of Kermit Lynch’s “gang of Four” from Beaujolais, Jean Foillard still represents a refreshing and powerful style of wine making. While most of Foillard’s vineyards are in the cru of Morgon, one small hectare can be found in the cru of Fleurie. With old vines, a late harvest and great attention to detail when sorting, Jean Foillard’s wines don’t typify beaujolais, they typify greatness in a glass.
