This week featuring: Donkey & Goat Stone Crusher Roussanne
Just the name Stone Crusher would get me nervous before digging into this bottle of Roussanne. While the grape is typically found in the Rhone Valley of France, here we see a different shade of Roussanne with a touch of skin maceration and powerful acidity. Teetering on being an “orange” wine, don’t let the name of the producer fool you as this juice from Donkey & Goat is very much the Lion, or Lioness of our wine list.  At $15 a glass, be sure to pick a powerful match from our oyster selections to pair..
